As you can see in the above example, it’s important to be specific with what you are claiming. If you don’t have this information already, it will be hard for the recruiter to believe that your position is a perfect fit for you. It’s best to go through each skill and experience on your resume and find a way to explain why the experience is unique from other candidates on the market.

Step 4: Create a mission statement.

Now that you have the opening statement completed, it’s time to create a mission statement. Your mission statement can be very simple and don’t need to be fancy. For example, it could say something like this: I am a dedicated and focused individual who is ready to take on any challenges that come along with working in customer service.

Also, remember that you are trying to sell yourself as the best candidate for the job. Being confident and passionate about what you want is essential when writing your mission statement.

Step 5: Add more detail to your resume.

After you have written your mission statement, it’s time to start filling information about your experience into the rest of your resume.
