There are many types of resumes, such as chronological and functional, but most customer service resumes tend to be hybrid resumes. It’s important to stick with the basic information when writing your resume unless you have an experience that is very unique to what the company is looking for.
Step 2: Create an outline for your resume.
Next, create an outline for your resume. Your resume’s layout should be easy to read because the recruiter won’t have much time to thoroughly look through your resume. Make sure that you include a title at the top that describes why you are the best candidate for the job that is being offered. In order to do this, you must analyze all of the skills and experience listed on your customer service resume and determine what makes you unique from other candidates.

Now that you have the opening statement completed, it’s time to create a mission statement. Your mission statement can be very simple and don’t need to be fancy. For example, it could say something like this: I am a dedicated and focused individual who is ready to take on any challenges that come along with working in customer service.
Also, remember that you are trying to sell yourself as the best candidate for the job. Being confident and passionate about what you want is essential when writing your mission statement.
Step 5: Add more detail to your resume.
After you have written your mission statement, it’s time to start filling information about your experience into the rest of your resume.
