For that purpose of automating tidious mannual execution in project management tool “Practitest,” a pure python based framework has been created to automate the process.
It uses Robot framework along with Selenium to execute the test cases in an automated fashion. An automation framework has been developed using Python that will integrate “Practitest” test management tool with automation testcase creation/execution.
The Framework will create “Robot Framework” testcases based on “manual”/automation testcases and execute it.
After execution Robot Framework test report will be generated testcase and Suite level. These reports will be parsed by The “automation framework” and test status (Test Step wise) and/or generated test report will be uploaded into “Practitest” test instances.
